Research at CABIMER is directed by Professor Shomi Bhattacharya and is divided into four large departments:

Research focuses on learning about and seeking solutions for illnesses which, at present affect a great many people, such as diabetes, cancer and neurodegenerative and autoinmune diseases. In order to generate research of the highest possible quality, CABIMER has a Scientific Advisory Committee made up of internationally recognized specialists.
